SILENT SPRING The book silent spring published in1962 by American researcher, Rachel Carson. Carson pointed out that birds and other organisms died in large numbers. When DDT mixed with petroleum products, affectionately called Insect bomb. DDT is abandoned in the year 1972. It causes disease such as cancer.
